Kicking off my 2025 wedding season, I had the pleasure of working with Catherine & Logan for their stunning summer wedding at Holy Cross in Minneapolis! This church always takes my breath away. The gorgeous architecture is the perfect landscape for the Sacrament of Matrimony.

June weddings are classic for a reason. The weather is beautiful at the start of summer (especially in MN!) and the blooming flowers and lush greens create the most beautiful landscape for pictures.

A few of my favorite things...

Holy Cross Church - An absolutely STUNNING Church. Like I said, I still can't get over it. The vibrant colors and marble create a tapestry of beauty that reminds me of Europe. The Holy Cross community has deep Polish and immigrant roots, which you can see honored in the style of the building and rich tones.

The painted candles - The bride and her bridesmaids painted taper candles for all of the guest tables! Each one was so unique and I loved the personal touch that it brought to each table. They made a perfect accent piece to the center of the table that was deeply personal and made with so much love.

The Mismatched Bridesmaid Dresses - If you are looking for a way to have your bridal party truly be a reflection of your friends unique styles and individuality, then mismatching bridesmaid dresses is a great choice! It adds a delightful touch of personality and charm. Everyone has a dress that they love, feel confident in, and showcases a bit of their own style. The variety of colors and styles can also add so much beauty for your photos!

Private Cake Cutting - Having a simple private cake cutting is a trend that I am loving! This allows for a low pressure and very intimate moment between the couple amidst the celebration of the reception. It's a time to take a breath, enjoy a sweet treat, and be alone together. Private moments during a wedding day don't happen as often as you'd expect, so take advantage of opportunities when you can!
