When I think back to this wedding day. my mind is filled with memories of so much joy and celebration!! Both Allie & Nico were giddy the whole day and so excited to be married. Their sweet love for each other was not only inspiring for me, but I also know it deeply touched the hearts of their guests. Their wedding Mass took place at the Cathedral in St. Paul (a gorgeous Sanctuary!!) with a stunning reception at Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins, MN.

Wedding Theme

Summer greens and light florals.

A few of my favorite things...

A First Prayer together - Allie & Nico wanted to have an aisle reveal, but still connect before Mass to pray as a couple. This was truly the most sweet moment to witness. We brought a kneeler behind Nico and Allie was able to reach out and hold his hand as they spent time in prayer before the Blessed Mother. I highly recommend creating time space and time to connect together as a couple before the ceremony! There are lots of creative ways if you want to save the big reveal for Mass.

The Bridal Portrait - I'm sorry .... whhaaaaaat!?!? This photo of Allie is ICONIC. I honestly feel like I am looking at the Cover of a Bridal Magazine. Here is a bride of grace, beauty, and pose. It is the kind of portrait that her future grandchildren will gaze at with awe. Highly encourage every bride to take those few extra moments for a personal bridal shot that will be treasured forever.

The Choreographed First Dance - I'm always a fan of a choreographed first dance, and Allie & Nico did not disappoint! The whole routine was beautiful and also so much fun. Make your first dance together something special for both of you, even if that means it is less traditional. I would always vote for the fun first dance!

The Joy & FUN - Allie & Nico were both giddy with excitement the whole day! Their love was spilling over to everyone who was celebrating with them. One of my favorite aspects of a wedding day is seeing how the bride and groom's personalities shine through. I love ending a wedding day with a couple and thinking,"wow, that was so them." Your guests (aka all your favorite and most special people) love seeing you both completely yourselves on your wedding day! Remember to loosen up and make it both a sacred and FUN day!
