Hannah and Stephen were first introduced to each other in preschool. It was the classic "boy next door" story for Hannah, as she and Stephen grew up less than 5 minutes away from each other. Although they had crushes on each other from early on, the two did not enter into a serious relationship until they were in their final years of college. On June 8, 2019, the Feast of the Sacred Heart, the two were married at their hometown church. I have known Hannah since we were in high school, so it was a joy to be a part of her special day!
Wedding Theme
Hannah and Stephen love the outdoors and wanted to capture as much of that as possible within their wedding theme. Their colors were lavender, purple, white, and gray.
A Few of my Favorite Things
Rosary - Hannah used one of her favorite rosaries to wrap around her bouquet
Prayer - Centering their day around prayer, Hannah and Stephen invited their family and friends to join them for a Holy Hour the night before the wedding. On their wedding day, they were surrounded by their bridal party and friends, who prayed over them.
Centerpieces - Truly, the little details matter. Take a moment to appreciate the hand cut trunk base, the birch wrapped candle, the pinecones, wild flowers, and the birch table number.
Send off - Regulations against sparklers in a park? No problem! Glow sticks work too and they added a bunch of fun color to the ending of the night.
